visual art

                                         Visual Art

Hi bloggers in Week 7 we decided to make our favourite endemic and native bird and we had to fill the bird with geometric shapes. I chose a kaka it is a wild life parrot.

The things we needed to draw our bird were that we had to use:
  • acrylic paint
  • brushes
  • paper
  1. So, we had to chose an animal
  2. then we had to find a photo of our animal
  3. we had to trace the bird on our google drawing then our teacher printed the picture of the bird that we traced. Some people did it in their art book.
  4.  Then we had our big papers and we primed them. Prime means that we had to paint the background white.
  5. Some people had to just trace on the big paper and some had to draw on the paper
  6.  then when we had done that we had to chose a minimum of 4 colours for our bird. I chose red, yellow, green and dark green.
  7. Then we applied it.
So this is my finished work

I like the different kind of shapes and the colour.
One thing I would like to change is that I could do colours like red then green then yellow and last dark green. And I would also change is to draw the bird in the middle rather then on the side.

  2. Ciao Isra, This is Zoe from your class. Your visual art painting was amazing. My favourite thing about your painting was the drawing it was very good especially because you did free hand drawing. Maybe next time you could tell us how hard it was to paint in the triangles. It reminded me of my painting. Bye
